i reset the clock to 0 every time i fuel up all the way and keep track of my miles that way. one of my bikes i can regularly get to within .1 or .2 gallons of my full capacity because i know how many miles it can handle on a tank with certain types of driving.

Does Honda have a after market low fuel sensor for motorcycles?
I have a 2006 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100. It does not have a low fuel sensor on it. I have seeing many other bikes with this option. Where can I find the equipment to install one on my bike?Does Honda have a after market low fuel sensor for motorcycles?i think those are actually a loophole for bikes that don't have the right amount of reserve capacity that law requires. my 1100 has one but my 650 doesn't. i don't think any of my other bikes had one either. fuel gauges are for sissies in my opinion.
