How do I get refrigerant for 1990 Honda civic?

I have a 1990 honda civic dx. The refrigerant ran out and I'm just wondering how I get new refrigerant in. Where can I get it? Or how can I convert a certain type to match whatever they used to use in older hondas? Thanks. How do I get refrigerant for 1990 Honda civic?EbayHow do I get refrigerant for 1990 Honda civic? You can't.

You have to retrofitting. It isn't hard and it isn't expensive. See these videos:

The freon (R12) that is still in your car needs to be sucked out. R12 is expensive so shops will even pay you to get it sucked out.

Good Luck...How do I get refrigerant for 1990 Honda civic?Retrofiting the system you have now will have to be done at a certified hvac automotive shop. R-134a will be your replacement refrigerent. Chlorofluorocarbons(CFCs) contained in R-12 may cause deterioration of the earth's ozone layer. R-12 and R-134a are not compatible and should never be mixed in a system. The conversion from R-12 to R-134a can be minimal on some systems, as most manufactures have anticipated the change. Although some of the older systems may require extensive modification to operate correctly with R-134a. Contact a local Honda dealer and they should help you with your A/C needs.
