Can anyone tell me where to locate and how to replace the signal light flasher on a 1990 Toyota 4Runner?

I bought a flasher for my 1990 Toyota 4Runner and cannot locate where to install it. I have looked all under the hood, under the dashboard, inside the glove compartment and simply cannot locate where to install the flasher.Can anyone tell me where to locate and how to replace the signal light flasher on a 1990 Toyota 4Runner?most all flashers are located at the fuse box or near the the fuse box
