12-14 thousand as they are roomiest and most reliable convertables made. They hold value and will be easy to sell. any thing less (price) and I would be suspicious. It mayhave been wrecked or flooded or blown engine and repaired. get carfax and check first. get a good mechanic as they can tell if wrecked or takencare of. A used car manager you might know can do same thing as they appraise and buy cars all the time. I have appraised cars that people swore were never in wreck even after I showed them that bumper piston was stuck in or paint was not sanded on hood so why was hood changed and not body painted. Things like that you need to look out for. If private sale if it says ac just went out or needs freon why did they not put freon in. look undercarpet and look for rust. hurricane cars or floode cars are sold dirt cheap and are worst as wiring will go little by little and can be fixed to look new if not gone over completely. go on www.craigslist.com , choose your city then click on where it says for sale , once you do that in search type in camry solara it will give you an estimate how much they go for best of luck, its a good car reliable it will last you a while.

I just bought a 03 Solara with 4cyl and 75k for $11000. It had a new top and runs great. Dealer was asking $13000. I purchased it in Indiana.
