How do you remove silicon glue from my 1996 Toyota Rav-4 with out damaging the paint?

My car has a moon roof. Some how when the raining season began, it started to leak inside my car. Actually, the moonroof was the one letting the water into my car. My dad ended up putting silicon glue around the moonroof and it worked. Now I want to take out the silicon glue from the car. What should I do?How do you remove silicon glue from my 1996 Toyota Rav-4 with out damaging the paint?Silicone rubber or (RTV) is probably what he used to seal up the joint. I would remove most of it with a sharpened wooden chop stick being careful not to damage the paint. Then use a body graphic removing spray.
