How to install an underbody neon kit for a 1997 honda civic?

I have a 1997 honda civic ex Coupe and would like to know some instructions on how to install them. How to install an underbody neon kit for a 1997 honda civic? To be honest, if you need instructions on how to do it you really shouldn't be attempting it.

However, if you have your heart set on doing it yourself I won't discourage you. Everyone's gotta start somewhere right? =]

Firstly, it depends how you want them wired; on all the time, on with a switch, on with the headlights, on with the handbrake etc.

Firstly you need to find a mounting point that doesn't inhibit any mechanical parts of the car. Don't ask me where I read this, but I remember somewhere that it's illegal for the actual light bar to be showing (depending on where you live the whole setup may be illegal, at the very least it will make you very attractive to police).

Then find a spot to run the wires where they won't get in the way of anything and also won't hang down. You'll then need to splice off a wire that has constant power and find a ground that turns on and off with (whatever you want the lights turned on and off with).

Hey presto you're all done! Make sure all wires are ziptied up and don't get in the way of anything or the driver's feet.
