What is more reliable a Subaru 4x4 or a Honda 4x4?

A friend is looking for a new 4 wheel drive. She is looking at a 2007 Subaru Wgn and a Honda CRV 2004. I had problems with Subaru transmissions. You? Suggestions? Thank you.What is more reliable a Subaru 4x4 or a Honda 4x4?Where does she live? In the great white frozen north?

Subaru has a real go anywhere 4 wheel drive.



Honda's is a 2WD with some minor 4WD assistance to keep you on the road in inclement weather.



Depends on her needs.What is more reliable a Subaru 4x4 or a Honda 4x4?Honda CRV has an un-even set up since the gear box is on one side of the car instead of the middle, but subaru is symmetrical so the CRV will have torque steer if you are sliding and want to go a different direction. but yet subaru will not, it will keep trying to go in a straight line.

What is more reliable a Subaru 4x4 or a Honda 4x4?4X2 is more reliable since there is no transfer case to blow up.

4X4 is not needed,you just go in the ditch further and deeper.

Subaru has good transmissions,but stay away from automatic,girly

transmissions for any vehicle since the new ones all contain plastic parts.
