Transmission woes on the Honda Accord or is it the timing belt ?

My honda accord v6 is approaching 80,000 miles and just got the 1st hint of trouble ever. On lower speeds if I depress the accelerator pedal, sometimes there is a delayed response and then a nasty jerk. I have heard of this problem in the model. What is it? Is it the timing belt? Or is the transmission going? Will have to end up replacing the entire transmission ?Transmission woes on the Honda Accord or is it the timing belt ?take it to a dealership... tell them the problem, there is an extended warinty on the trans that honda has offerd due to the amount of problems they have had with the trans in their cars as of late

good luckTransmission woes on the Honda Accord or is it the timing belt ?It sounds like the fuel management system, should be simple to correct.Transmission woes on the Honda Accord or is it the timing belt ?Have you ever had the tranmission serviced?? Your transmission filter and fluid probably need to be changed. Does it sound like your engine is reving and then you get the nasty jerk? If so your transmission is probably slipping for a moment and then hitting the gear. Take it to a shop and have a mechanic take a look at it.
