Is 133 thousand miles decent for a used 1996 Honda Accord?

I need to buy a car soon and I was considering either a used Toyota Corolla or a used Honda Accord. The Toyota Corolla is a 1996 with 126 thousand miles for 2900 (though of course I'd haggle) and the Honda Accord is a 1996 with 133 thousand miles for 2000 (again, I'd haggle). Is the Honda Accord decent sounding (based on the little info given), or the Corolla? Of course, I have to check them both out myself, but are there any tips or suggestions or opinions anyone can offer? Thanks! Is 133 thousand miles decent for a used 1996 Honda Accord?Go for the corolla. Better MPG, reliable, (gas pedal works lol). They outlast the Honda accord if well maintained. (Like you can put 250k miles if you maintain it). 126k miles is breaking it in. I had a 1994 corolla and bought it with 110k miles, the car's engine literally died at 260k miles and the transmission outlasted the engine!! This one time, I had no coolant and drove that sucker for 50 miles and it still didnt overheat. Is 133 thousand miles decent for a used 1996 Honda Accord?High mileage is OK if the car has been well cared for. If it looks like the previous owners didn't take care of the car look elsewhere.

As far as the differrence between Toyota and Honda, it's a coin flip. Both are good as long as they have been taken care of.

I wouldn't pay anywhere close to $2900 for a 15 year old car.Is 133 thousand miles decent for a used 1996 Honda Accord? Both are good cars. Take both on long test drives and then whichever one you like best, have a mechanic check it out. Don't skip that step. Saving $50-125 can cost you lots more. We have people here on a regular basis blaming the sellers when they are the ones to blame. Is 133 thousand miles decent for a used 1996 Honda Accord?
Either one sounds good.
