its a honda, you can put pretty much about anything in it depending on your budget. h22 is a damn fast engine but it outweighs the b18 by alot. i would go with a b18 or b16 myself because of weight and you can get better handling with less weight in the front. plus with the money you save buying a b18 or b16 you could boost it and make it faster than a stock h22 by far. depending on the year tho you might want to just consider selling it and buying something different and newer because of the wiring harness and ecu stuff and alot of work your going to have to put into it. your going to have alot into this project and if you go thru with it good luck.What engine can i swap into a 1st generation honda prelude?you can put many honda motors in it. but not F22c which comes from s2000 because irs RWD. best performance engine would be k20. which comes from acura rsx and will fit your honda. also b16 are good engines. if you want your car for power than h22, b18, b16a2 would be good. if you want to take it to the next step and turbocharge it or some serious performance than i would go with k20. good luck and be carefull with engine setup.What engine can i swap into a 1st generation honda prelude?
