How do you change spark plugs on a 2009 toyota carolla 1.8?

I took the coil packs out but there is a shield over the spark plugs and I can't get a socket on it. Any one know how I do this? How do you change spark plugs on a 2009 toyota carolla 1.8?Haha yea found on road dead, never heard that one before. Its funny how you can say that considering ford has the best selling line of trucks and is pretty much dominating car companies around the world. I'll just stop there but you obviously can't with your sticky gas pedal :) if your an American its a shame how you buy foreign rather then domestic, no wonder the US is failing because you people are buying products from china and japan and not hereHow do you change spark plugs on a 2009 toyota carolla 1.8?once the coil pack is out of the way, use a spark plug socket and an extension to get to the plug. they usually are not that hard. try the back three on a 99 sienna.
