I know many Toyota's have a life expectancy of around 600,000 miles if well maintained. How does the Honda Civic stack up?How many miles in the life of a Honda Civic?Yes. Honda is more reliable than Toyota.
Any car of maintained could get 600,000 miles.
I have seen a VW Scirocco with over 600,000 miles and even a Ford Police car with 402,000 miles. And Ford is supposed to be the worst in reliability.
Honda's and Toyota's are the type of cars that easily last 200,000 miles if you don't take care of them.
Accelerating fast also decreases the life of the car.How many miles in the life of a Honda Civic?Well 600,000 miles is alot of miles. A civic could make it that far if you maintained it meticulously. Hondas can make it to 200,000 even if the person who owned it only changed the oil every 7000 miles. How many miles in the life of a Honda Civic?I don't know about the average. But my 94 Civic has 187K miles and the engine + tranny + suspension runs brand new.
Good Luck...
P.S. I don't drive it like an old lady either. I redline it a lot.How many miles in the life of a Honda Civic?
Just as well if not better. When we bought a new Civic back in '88 we watched the roads. We counted more old Honda's than any other make and went that way. It's still alive and kicking and with gas prices, it is our everyday car.
