I have replaced the gasket on my honda accord yesterday night but in morning I saw oil leaks on floor?

I have a 1998 honda accord 2.3L 4 door model with 60000 miles on it. I noticed an oil leak and changed the oil pan gasket in the car yesterday but today morning I saw some oil on the floor. Is it leaking again? If yes, what should I do?I have replaced the gasket on my honda accord yesterday night but in morning I saw oil leaks on floor? The oil pan gasket may not have been leaking, or wasn't the only leak. If the front seal, or rear main seal leak the oil runs down over the oil pan making it look like the pan gasket is leaking.

Clean everything up with a good degreaser and recheck for leaks. Leaks that start higher up on the engine can be difficult to track down, but some patience usually pays off.I have replaced the gasket on my honda accord yesterday night but in morning I saw oil leaks on floor?HI

look the motor over it may be the valve cover gaskets, or the front or rear crank seal or even the oil pressure sending unit. the leak may have been higher on the motor as the oil well run down the sides of the motor and then drip off the pan making you think its the pan gasket.

good luck

The sending unit, rocker arm cover gaskets, engine oil seals, timing cover sealant or sealing flange.I have replaced the gasket on my honda accord yesterday night but in morning I saw oil leaks on floor?
the oil might be from when you changed the gasket or you did,nt get the bolts tight enough. try snugging the bolts up some more buy don,t overtighten them or you could cut the gasket and warp the pan, just snug them some.
