See, I am trying to get a new "used" car, and I have my sights set on a Toyota Avalon, but my mother seems to think it's a granny car. It is loaded and is a sedan and top of the line, look at the interiors, you will feel that the car is hugging you and taken you in her protective arms as the side bars and other crash proof reinforcement are hidden in the stylish exteriors.

The engine is the best, compared with any other foreign cars now-a-days, Tell your Mom, Toyota's makes the most safest cars in the world and they are world leaders. Didn't you hear "Toyota never lets you down" if at all it happens after you neglect to take about the basic things the car will let you know in advance that it cannot take the neglect anymore and going to stop. Believe me I've been using Toyotas since 1976 and tested them in Three continents of the World. I can also copy certain articles from the Automobile magazines but I don't want to, since it is my own personal experience.

Great cars, but I've never seen anyone under 50 driving one. How about a Camry? Or you could get a Lexus ES300 for about the same money a couple years older. Try E-Bay for the best deal.

No. Avalons are grandpa cars. It's the Japanese response to Buick. I'm sure they're reliable cars, but they're still grandpa cars. Go with Honda if you're a little image-conscious. They have a hipper reputation than Toyota.
