What difference has the original oil filter toyota?

greetings, a few days ago I went to make the routine change oil in my car toyota corolla 2000, I've always put FRAM oil filter, and was thinking about switching to aK %26amp; n but in the service station used oil filter original toyota , which would be better to use the original? benefits that have a filter to a filter original replacement as a K %26amp; N, Fram, Purolator? 5 stars PD will use Pennzoil High Mileage Oil 5W-30What difference has the original oil filter toyota?you can buy expensive filters. but the truth of the matter is if this is just a daily driver, there will be no significant advantages using anything other than a good old fram or purolator filter. even if it's a relatively new vehicle.

5/30 is what's recommended in a normal environment. and pennzoil is a good product.
most i would do, if i had a mind to, is consider synthetic. that's only if she doesn't leak or consume oil. What difference has the original oil filter toyota?
First consider the fact that no car company makes oil filters, they all come from outside companies that put the name of the car company on the label. This is common in all companies, for example "Sears Kenmore" is really made by Whirlpool and Douglas, kumho, Kelly-Springfield and Lee tires are all really "Goodyear" brands. You can buy a filter from Toyota BUT it will be made by a separate company that just sticks on a Toyota label.

This site rates several oil filters: http://www.bestcovery.com/best-oil-filte鈥?/a>What difference has the original oil filter toyota? One main distinguishing feature of oil filters is the anti-drain back valve. When the engine stops, the valve closes to keep too much of the oil from draining back into the pan. That way, when the engine's restarted, it doesn't take as long to get the oil circulating again. It also helps keep the dirty oil in the filter. The Toyota filters have the anti-drain back valve but many aftermarket ones do as well, such as Wix and NAPA Gold. I do not believe that the standard Fram filters have them. The Purolator Premium Plus and PureONE have the valve. K%26amp;N also has the valve.

Most recent engines don't have a problem getting the oil circulating so they'll be okay whether the filter has an anti-drainback valve or not. I have an 85 Toyota 22RE that has a hard time getting the oil circulating so an anti-drain back filter really helps it.What difference has the original oil filter toyota?
tell u a story ,,changing oil in walmart one day a guy told me he works for fram amd what ever i do DONT put fram in my car(im guess the basic fram filter)so i decided to cut one up and cut a cheap penzoil on,the penzoil filter had a better screan, now i work for toyota so i decided to cut one up,the toyota filter has passage ways thet if the filter get blocked(this shouldnty happen unless yu really waited too long to change the oil)the oil will still pass through the ports to lub the motor ,sure the oil wont be filtered but the oil will still pass, unlike the fram or penzoil filter if they get blocked there will be no oil getting pumped in the motor and can cause damage,so if you wait too long for oil changes get the toyota ones,if not then it makes no differenceWhat difference has the original oil filter toyota?I used to buy fram till i found out some filters are poorly constructed. They are cheap for a reason. I use Bosch on my camry. K%26amp;N is also an excellent filter but costs more. I think the toyota OEM filters are made by denso. OEM is better than fram. If you religiously change your oil every 3000 miles you can get away with fram but it you change every 5000 then get something better. High Mileage oil has some additives to lubricate seals and stuff but you pay more money for that use regular 5w30 just like it says on the oil cap and you'll be fine. original manufactor parts are always best.

there were studies comparing aftermarket and OEMs

they cut both filters in half and found oem had more filter compare to frams.

filter are suppose to filter dirt in the oil, so if u change it atleast every 5k, your good aftermarket or original. google whats best filter and you should see alot of answers
