Just doing a little resurch. A buddy of mine says he has a 1985 MR2 I think they first came in 1987? So what year did the MR2 come to the States?What was the first year the Toyota MR2 came to the united states?1985 was the model year but they were introduced early and actually were being sold in 1984 as 1985 vehicles.

1985.... in 1987 Toyota offered Supercharged/ T-Top and N/A versions thru 1989. 1990 the new body style was introduced either N/A or Turbo.
