I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 5spd. that I need a rear end and a rim for.I located a 1996 Toyota Previa Van and need to know if these will interchange?1996 toyota previa van:Will the complete rear end interchange with a 1996 Toyota Tacoma ?I believe that they are different rear ends. I am currently getting a new rear dif installed on my 1992 Previa. I know that the 1995-98 Toyota Tacoma with automatic have the same transmission as the 1995-98 S/C Previa. Not sure on the 5 speed though. I believe that the rear differentials are the same also, but I haven't been able to find has the same rear differential.
