Can someone tell me how to remove the transmission from my 94 toyota pickup 4 cylinders? I already removed all the bolts and things attached to it but the tranmission is stuck very tight and wont come out. I need to take it out to replace the clutch. Can someone please tell me how? Thank youHelp removing transmission from 94 toyota pick up?It must be pulled straight back in order for the pilot shaft to slide out of clutch. Try wiggling the tail housing side to side while pulling backwards. its best to use a transmission jack as these have wheels and will support tranny while allowing the whole shebang to roll. I seen my Dad pull one out on to his chest and crawl out from under truck.
Oh, I forgot, you have to remove shift tower.Help removing transmission from 94 toyota pick up?Did you put the shifter in neutral?
