How many miles should I expect to get out of a Honda Elite 80 Scooter?

I recently purchased a 2007 Honda Elite 80 scooter new from the dealer. In the three months I've owned it I've already put 2800 miles on it. I put semi-synthetic oil in it (Honda brand HP4 w/o Moly) and I change it every 1000 miles.How many miles should I expect to get out of a Honda Elite 80 Scooter?The point at which you will need to change the "rubber band" will depend on usage and wear. If you rag it everywhere it will wear out quicker. Either way, I would expect that you would need to change it long before the 100000 mile mark previously quoted.



Like any vehicle, if it's properly maintained there is no reason why it shouldn't just run and run. Regular oil changes are good, as is sticking to the maintenance schedule.
