How much should it cost to get a master brake cylinder replaced in a 96 Honda Accord?

Just looking for a ballpark range in what is reasonable for parts and labor. It is a 1996 Honda Accord EX sedan, 4-cylinder, ABS.

Does something like this need to be done at the dealer or any repair shop?

Also, is there any other maintenance that can/should be done simultaneously? Like hoses or pads? How much should it cost to get a master brake cylinder replaced in a 96 Honda Accord? The master cylinder should cost between $100-$125. Labor is charged by the hour depending on the shop. I could do this in about 2 hours. It does not have to be done by the dealer - it is a fairly simple job. It does not entail any hoses or belts, but they should replace the brake fluid. Brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years because it is very hydrophilic - it attracts water like crazy. People don't understand that after 2 years water WILL find it's way into the brake fluid. And brake fluid gets hotter than 212 degrees - so steam bubble appear. And the steam is compressable so the brakes get mushy. How much should it cost to get a master brake cylinder replaced in a 96 Honda Accord?its easyer than you think if money is tight the mastercylinder comes with instructions i just did mine toke a1/2 hourHow much should it cost to get a master brake cylinder replaced in a 96 Honda Accord?any good shop can do it. hoses or pads only if they are needed. labor should be around an hour. if anything else have brake fluid flushed. part probably around 75-80$$How much should it cost to get a master brake cylinder replaced in a 96 Honda Accord?
