How do you install side skirts on a 97 Honda Accord?

I would like to know how to install side skirts on a '97 Honda Accord. I've also got "brackets" that came with the side skirts. What are they use for?

Please give me complete details step by step how to install side skirts onto my car. Thank you.How do you install side skirts on a 97 Honda Accord?Step by step? Sure.

1) put those skirts and brackets inside the car

2) get behind the wheel

3) drive to a body shop

4) have them do the installationHow do you install side skirts on a 97 Honda Accord?Assuming you're talking about aftermarket side skirts:

1. You may or may not need to take off your OEM side skirt depending on manufacturer. Many aftermarket side skirts just go over your existing OEM side skirts so just mount them on and use screws to hold them in. I suggest screwing them down along the door sill so you don't see them.

2. If you have ones that require your OEM ones taken off, then you will need to jack up your car and remove the plastic screws holding them in. There should be a few running from jack point to jack point. Unscrew each plastic screw and remember to also remove the plastic anchors. Then when all the screws have been removed, from the front of the vehicle, give a slight kick on the OEM side skirt to unclip it from your car. Then remove the clips behind the side skirt and save them in case you want to go back to OEM. You will then mount your new side skirt on to your vehicle using the same method as number 1. (Wings West sides require OEM side skirt removal).

As for your "Brackets" without knowing your brand of side skirt, there is no perfect answer for your question on how to use these in the installation. I hope the above at least gives you a general idea on how to do it.

Good luck.
