Can anybody please help me find my 2000 Honda Civic radio code?

I recently replaced the battery in my 2000 Honda Civic, and now the radio doesn't work. The radio prompts me for a code to unlock the radio, but I don't have the code. From what I've found searching online, this is a common problem.



I have searched all over my car for the code sticker, but all I could find is what I believe to be the radio serial number. Is anybody able to tell me my radio code from the radio serial number? M98N355810

just follow the prompts on their site and it should work, but im not sure i have not tried it, and i own a 2000 honda cr-v. but most likely the dealership will have it, or there should be a sticker inside your glove box, or so i have heard.Can anybody please help me find my 2000 Honda Civic radio code?

Can anybody please help me find my 2000 Honda Civic radio code?
1. Look in or on the side of glove box for small sticker with numbers, should be 5 digits with numbers no greater then 6.

2. Pull out the ashtray and see if the sticker is on the back of there.(older models that have them)

3. If you turn off radio and hold the 1 and 6 preset buttons then turn radio on it will give you the serial number. They will ask verifying questions. You may have to pull radio from dash and write down radio serial number and call local dealer with that number and they will be able to get the code for you.

4. If you happen to have all the books from the dealer look in the 'HONDA SERVICE HISTORY' book, NOT the owners manual. It should be on the first page in the AUDIO CODE box.

if you know the delear from from where the car was first bought they might have a copy of the radio code. If not the radio will have to be de coded
