Can I change the stereo in my Honda Civic to a regular CD player?

I bought a 2001 Honda Civic yesterday and the factory installed Stereo does not work. I want to fit another CD player that I have but the Civic has an irregular fascia panel shape. How do I fit a rectangular CD Player? Can I get new surround? Its the model without steering wheel controls so it should be pretty straightforward to change over apart from the different shape. Can I change the stereo in my Honda Civic to a regular CD player?you canCan I change the stereo in my Honda Civic to a regular CD player?
You need a mounting kit for an aftermarket radio. You can get one at most car audio shops.

Here is one that is made for your car.

I don`t think you even need a facia for a Civic. You may need a Wiring loom adapter (about 拢10).

Google for any of these companies -
