Planning to buy a new car debating betn Honda and Toyota?Honda civic or Mazda3

are better deals than the Toyota

Ex:the camry is quiet and roomy but the handling is poor.

also look at

Ford Fusion

Mercury Milan

Kia Optima EX

Hyundai Sonata

Ford Taurus

they are all good deals for the money.

your cavalier is worth maybe $800 to $500

but a dealer won't give you near that, sell it yourself.

or if you itemize deductions on your income tax, donate it to

charity for the write off.Planning to buy a new car debating betn Honda and Toyota?
I don't know which Honda %26amp; Toyota models you're looking at, but I'll take a Honda almost every time over the Toyota. They tend to be more sporty %26amp; more stylish.

For example, the new '09 Corolla just came out. But it looks exactly like the old one. Plus with the Civic you can get either a 4-door or 2-door. To get a Toyota 2-door in that segment you would have to get a Scion tC, which is kind of outdated.

In terms of your trade, I'm sorry to say a 10-year-old Cavalier probably isn't worth much money (but you got a lot of use from it at 125K miles). A dealer will give you even less because they have to wholesale it or put it on their lot and try to make a profit. So it is more of a pain, but try to sell it yourself. There is always someone looking for a good deal and they will get a better price from your private sale, plus you will get more than a trade-in.Planning to buy a new car debating betn Honda and Toyota?I prefer Honda's myself..I just find them to be more stylish and more fun to drive. If you look at a Civic and a Corolla side-by-side it's not even close. I had an 06 Corolla and I got rid of it for a Civic...I just found the Toyota to be very boring. As for trading in your car...don't bother. Sell it yourself...they will give you nothing for an 11 year-old Cavalier.Planning to buy a new car debating betn Honda and Toyota?
best sell your car privately. dealers have nothin to learn. have had all types of cars but the best by far was toyota maybe a corrola or avensis def value for money. good luck.
